Ryan Kingsbury Interview ![]() Who is Ryan Kingsbury?? Ryan is a founding member of "Star Track". He began this adventure back in the fall of 2001. In his first episode, he had 3 roles; Westley Crusher, Data and The Borg. The episode sucked! He would appear in the following 7 episodes before taking a hiatus from episodes 10-17. His most famous role is "Rhian", the insane Romulan who loathed Tremblay and the Idomo for killing his father "Vaurek" (also played by Ryan Kingsbury). We recently had the chance to sit down with Ryan and ask him a few questions. Here is the interview. Who introduced you to Star Track? Christian Fauteux / Matt Kennedy back in the day, after watching the terrible original episode, I figured it couldn't get any worse with me, so I joined up. What did you initially think of it? Strange but fun. When did you decide to get involved? In episode 2…right off the bat, then again in episode 17 when I became a badass Romulan Romulan villain. Why did you decide to get involved? Something to do on a Friday night. What is your first memory on set? My horrible costumes. (hilarious costumes actually) Are you a Star Trek fan? No but I understand why people would fall in love with it. Does your character reflect any aspects of you? Yes, being monotone and a bit of a prick.. Why do you think Star Track has survived for so long? Mainly due to Christian’s creativity, but also due to some real attempts at acting which eventually became successful. What does the future hold for Star Track? Hopefully more cast, more fans and more Rhian!!!!!. Well, there you have it, he's brief on words, but gets the point across! Thanks Ryan! Be sure to keep posted as we interview all cast and crew of Star Track in the coming months! |
